Registration for the 2014 Summer Sizzler is CLOSED

Thank you to all of you who signed up!! We have 86 teams that we are extremely excited to see on Saturday. Here are a few things you might like to know:

Tournament Directors are starting to schedule games this morning. We hope to have them posted and e-mailed out no later than Thursday morning. At that time, we will also post the “Canopy” layout. If you said “YES” you wanted to reserve a space for your canopy, you will be contacted in the order in which your registration came in. You can pick from the available spots at that time.

The tournament rules posted on this site are “dated” 2012. The rules have not changed, so they are still applicable. We’ve just overlooked the title of the page. PLEASE make sure your player, parents and especially your coaches know the rules thru and thru.

We will have our “Canned Food Drive” again this year. The team that brings in the most canned food items will receive their $100 fee back!! Once all the cans are counted, our treasurer will hand the team their reimbursement check on the field. We will allow teams to bring items in that will count towards their team total until noon. Drop your items off at the registration table and they will tally up all the totals!!

PLEASE look for LOTS of information to come into your e-mail box (the person who registered the team). There will be information about parking (we all have to work together on this one!!), uniform regulations (see tournament rules, also), canopy set up and pre-registration.

ALSO… if you have not paid your $100 or $110 registration fee YOU NEED TO DO THAT IMMEDIATELY. Unless you have spoken directly to Missy and she is aware that you are bringing it Friday at pre-registration ~ we should have it. If you haven’t paid yet, you can e-mail summersizzler2008@yahoo.com and we will send you a request for money via PayPal and you can put it on your debit or credit card.

We hear the weather is supposed to to AMAZING this weekend!!!! As always we will have tons of hamburgers, hot dogs, cold meat sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, drinks, snacks and of course KONA ICE will be there!!! Any questions, please contact 582-1107!

Deadline for 2014 Summer Sizzler Approaches

Registration for the 7th Annual 3v3 Summer Sizzler held July 19 is THIS WEEKEND! There are still openings in several age divisions. $100 per team with a max of 5 players per team. Free t-shirt for each registrant. Are you going to defend your Title as Division Champs… Or are you seeking that Title? 

Challenge a group of friends, colleagues  or rivals to a fun filled, fast pace game of 3v3! This is the BEST 3v3 in the 417!!  

Our charity this year is C. A. R. E.  –  a “No-Kill” Animal Shelter in Ozark. We will also continue our contest for a “registration refund”  for the most canned food items brought in by one team. Last year we had a truck full (literally) of canned goods brought in! All donations go to The Least of These Food Pantry! 

Registration is done online, and we now accept online payments! Deadline is Sunday… Don’t delay!!

Sizzler T-shirts For Sale

It has come to our attention that people would like to purchase (coaches/parents) tournament T-shirts. In the past we have offered a few extra ~ run out of one size, have several left in other sizes. Sometimes we run out within the 1st hour! We’re giving you the opportunity to PRE-ORDER shirts for $7.00. This year they will be “Pool Blue” (something cool and refreshing!!)…. but we haven’t designed the logo yet (that’s next on our agenda!!). If you know that you would like to purchase a shirt, please e-mail summersizzler2008@yahoo.com. Tell me your team name/age division and sizes. Shirts will be unisex shirts Youth Med – Adult XXXL. (XXL and XXXL are $2.00 more). Shirts will be ready for pick up Friday night at pre-registration and again on Saturday at registration.

July 19, 2014 Summer Sizzler Registration Active!!

Get your Summer Sizzler 3v3 Teams signed up soon!! Canopy spaces are being reserved by the order in which teams registered. Cost is $100 per team (5 player max) which includes a T-shirt for each player registered. Click on the link to the right to start your online registration (there is no “mail in” registration). You may pay online via PayPal, or you may still send in your checks. Deadline to register is July 12. SEE YOU THERE!!

SUMMER SIZZLER JULY 19, 2014

The date has been set…and we’re getting things in motion! With an OUTSTANDING attendance last year of 98 teams, we are considering capping the tournament. We don’t want to run the risk of losing quality because of quantity. Our suggestion is REGISTER EARLY!!

We have added two new components this year. First, Online Payment! Last year we began online registration, but you still had to send in your check. This year you have two options. Pay online via PayPal (there is a link once you have submitted your team information) OR you may still send in a check with the ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM. Second, we have offered “prime real estate” for your canopy’s/tents! We will offer canopy/tent space for $10 (this is optional). This reserves your tent space in your desired location. If you want to reserve a space for your canopy/tent, you will pay $10 per tent and you may reserve your space on a first “registered” first served basis. SO…this is another incentive to register early. If you choose not to reserve canopy/tent space ~ that is fine. We can not guarantee that you will get a space inside the fence…but we WILL have space outside the fence for anyone to set up. If you have questions on how this will work, please contact Missy at 582-1107. There is a payment option online for registration WITH TENT and registration WITH NO TENT. We will take location confirmations once the schedules have been posted (around July 15) so that you can see which field your team will be playing on ~ and hopefully get as close to that field as possible. Last year we did run out of space inside the fence…so if you want to make sure you are inside the fence ~ go for the $10 to reserve a space!! A map of the canopy/tent spaces will be available sometime in June.

1st place sizzlerHere are the Division Champs.  The only divisions that were “A” or “B” (or competitive vs recreational) were the High School Leagues and The Adult leagues.  All other age divisions were divided as equally as possible for each age group.  Congratulations to ALL the teams  ~ win or lose.  For us, it’s all about having fun at the Sizzler!!!

REVISED SCHEDULES ARE POSTED ~ Please Check!!

We had to change the 7th and 8th grade boys divisions… there are now three divisions.  7th, 7/8th and 8th.  Please check carefully if you are a team in those age ranges.  ALSO, the High School Boys White and High School Girls White have changed.  All of the changes have been highlighted in yellow.  We highlighted the entire age group because every game in each of those divisions changed.  Sorry to those this affects… Hopefully this gives everyone plenty of time to change their plans!

MISTAKE FOUND!!!

We have been alerted to a mistake on the 7th & 8th Grade boys schedules.  I am going to leave the schedule up so that the rest of the age divisions can see their schedules…but know that the 7th and 8th grade boys WILL CHANGE!!!  Hope to have it posted tonight (late).  Sorry :0)
