We think EVERYONE is a winner when it comes to the Summer Sizzler…. most of all, Least of These. Thank you to everyone for donating $, bringing in canned goods etc.. We will be cutting a check & donating the canned goods later this week.
However, we all know that there was only one team in each division that could take home the “Division Winner” collapsible water bottles (pretty cool water bottles, huh?) The Summer Sizzler participants and crew pulled off one of the BEST 3v3’s to date. What looked like could have been the Summer “Drizzler” again (back in 2009 it poured buckets of water and then stopped as soon as the games began!) but ended up being the most wonderful day for soccer. Thank you to all those who came to play, to watch, to volunteer, who sponsored the tournament, who brought in canned goods (the winner of the can drive was four2score boys team!!). This was just all around a fantastic day and we are so happy you all chose to spend your Saturday with us on the soccer field. Please mark your calendar for July 20, 2013 which is when we will host our 6th Annual Summer Sizzler.
Check back later this week for Division winners. Also, we have a small box of lost and found. If you lost something…check with us. It’s very likely that we have picked it up.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend…and again ~ THANK YOU!!!
Looks like the rain should push through….if we delay games…we will post. Thanks for your patients!
Please check your schedules again. All changes are highlighted in YELLOW. Thanks!!
We worked very hard last night to get the schedules done and to our “auditor” to check all the details and it looks like we have everything in order. We did our very best to not double book a coach, and get everyone’s requests in. Unless we have made a grave error, the schedule will stay as is.
Please read the rules and the instructions on the Schedule Page. If there is something you are unsure about, please email summersizzler2008@yahoo.com and we will get back with you as soon as we can. You may also call 417-582-1107.
Thank you so much for joining us for another GREAT weekend of sun & fun & soccer!!
(Schedules are posted on the link at the top of the page)
Schedules will start being made for teams entered into the Summer Sizzler tonight. This is a bit of a process with quite a few requests. Our goal is to have it up on this site by Thursday at noon. I don’t believe anyone will be playing Friday night. All teams are guaranteed 3 games, some will get 4 if they make it into a championship game or if there are 5 teams in your division. Please make sure you read over the rules before coming Saturday. Not knowing the rules could cost your team some points!! We will be emailing everyone’s team contact person to let them know when schedules are posted. So excited to see everyone ~ Check back later!!
Today, Monday July 9th, is the last day to register your team(s) for the 5th Annual Summer Sizzler 3v3 Tournament. We will take registrations up until later tonight. If you have most of your information ready but haven’t sent your forms in yet you need to either call 582-1107 or scan and email your registration form to hold your spot (if you stick them in the mail today they will NOT get here in time). Once the schedule is made, a team will only be added if it’s easy to rearrange the schedules. All emails should be sent to summersizzler2008@yahoo.com
Our group of volunteers have a great tournament set up for everyone again this year. Hope to see you all there (and that the weather forecast stays!!)
If you have found yourself running late with getting your registration form in, please call 582-1107 and let us know. We don’t want anyone to miss out! We have such a great group of volunteers ready to make next Saturday a great day….and we hear nice weather could be in order. Extended forecast says 89 degrees! Whoo hooo!
