The Summer Sizzler 3v3 Tournament will be holding its 10th annual 3v3 on July 15, 2017.  We have come a long way from our 1st in 2008.  In 2008, it was decided to pull off a 3v3 tournament in a matter of 6 weeks.  What was thought to be the impossible became possible.  With the help of countless volunteers from the OHS Soccer Program, our first 3v3 had 52 teams.  The Summer Sizzler is one of the most enjoyable, family friendly tournaments you will attend.  With 8 fields playing at all times, a 20 minute running clock where all games start and stop at the same time, thousands of people sitting under their canopies that are lined up along the fence line and music filling the air during the games ~ it’s no wonder why we have grown so much.  By 2015 had a record number 115 teams!!  What used to be a “local” tournament has now morphed into a “regional” tournament with teams coming from Rolla, Joplin, Jefferson City, Waynesville, Columbia, Kansas City and everywhere in between.  We are regularly complimented on the structure of the tournament and the fun, family focused atmosphere that the teams experience.
